About Chef Monica Cobb
A Southeast Texas native, Chef Monica Cobb grew up surrounded by the farms and food traditions of her hometown before launching a global culinary career that has taken her from Wolfgang Puck’s Spago in Hollywood to the Nile River in Cairo. After years as a private chef and food stylist, she returned home to Beaumont, where she created a vibrant local dining scene through her acclaimed restaurant, Monica’s Restaurant, and a series of creative pop-up dinners. Today, she continues to celebrate regional ingredients and community through her Kitchen Crafted private dining experiences and collaborations with local producers. Her work reflects both the deep roots and evolving spirit of East Texas cuisine.

About Stephanie Franklin

Stephanie L. Franklin is a Houston native, born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and now a vintner and the Founder, President & CEO of Franklin Vines Winery & Vineyard. After being laid off during COVID, she was inspired to pursue her passion for wine, which led her to start the journey of developing a vineyard on her family’s ancestral land in Shankleville, TX. Her inaugural Texas Tannat is already making waves, earning a Silver Medal at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition and a Gold Medal at the International Women’s Wine Competition, reflecting her vision to blend history, community, and winemaking.
